Apparel brand J. Crew announced that their website had been hacked by an unauthorized party and some customer information may have been accessed. Although the number of customers impacted is not known, information like a customer’s email address and password may have been obtained. This information could have been used to access data like the last four digits of credit card numbers, the expiration dates, card types, billing addresses connected to those cards, order numbers, shipping confirmation numbers, and shipment status of those orders.
