Data Breach Alert: Marriott Announces Breach May Affect Up to 5.2 Million Guests
Up to 5.2 million Marriott guests may have been affected in the latest breach to impact the hotel company. Marriott stated that some of the breached information may have included names, mailing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, gender, dates of birth, and linked airline loyalty programs. Marriott doesn't believe at this time that any of their Marriott Bonvoy account passwords, payment card information, or passport information was accessed in the breach.
