After conducting an investigation, GoDaddy has found that there was an unauthorized individual who gained access to customer login information. With this information this individual was able to connect to customer hosting accounts through SSH. It is currently unknown how many people have been affected. At this time, only hosting accounts have been affected. GoDaddy is advising its users to conduct audits on their hosting accounts. Main GoDaddy.com customer accounts and information stored within these customer account have not been accessible.
